COLLABORATION: THE STUDIO

SAY ANYTHING, HE SAID. YOU CAN'T MAKE A MISTAKE IF YOU IMPROVISE.

WHAT IF I MESS IT UP? WHAT IF I SCREW UP THE RYTHM?

YOU CAN'T, HE SAID. ITS LIKE DRUMMING. IF YOU MISS A BEAT, YOU CREATE ANOTHER.

IN THIS EXCHANGE, SAM TAUGHT ME THE SECRET OF IMPROVISATION.

                                                                                                                         - just kids

THAT IS SAM SHEPARD PEOPLE, PAY ATTENTION, WE'RE LEARNING STUFF OVER HERE. THE  DOUBLE A COLLABORATION CONTINUES, THIS TIME IN ANTOINETTE'S PAINT LADEN STUDIO IN WIMBLEDON ON THE WEEKEND.
WE WORE THE JAPANESE SCHOOLGIRL DRESS IN SEERSUCKER; THE SLEEVES OF WHICH ARE THE WATERY SILKEN DRIP PANELS FROM ANTOINETTE'S SILK. MORE ON THAT LATER.
WE CONSIDER THE FABULOUS CANVAS PAINTED FOR US, ABOVE, WHICH WE WILL HAVE A VERY HARD TIME CHOPPING INTO. AND WILL HAVE TO TAKE SAM'S WORDS TO HEART IN ORDER TO PLUCK UP THE COURAGE, AND STOP BEING A SISSY AND JUST CUT AND SEW THE DAMN THING (AS ANTOINETTE WOULD SAY). BELOW, A PIECE OF LACE USED AS A STENCIL, WHICH, THOUGH STIFF WE ARE GOING TO TRY AND WEAR.

GET IN TOUCH BUTTERCUP, COME AND PARTY WITH US HERE.
